When “Lost,” the SF hit from ABC returns in February don’t expect to find it in its normal Wednesday night timeslot.
According to a report for TV Guide’s “Ausiello Report,” the show will be moving to a new date and time. What we don’t know right now is when and where to find the highly acclaimed program. That information is expected to be announced soon by ABC.
As we reported on one of our past Slice of SciFi shows, “Lost” was able to complete eight episodes before the writer’s strike hit Hollywood and those will be aired consecutively. After that, however, it could be some time before the rest of the season can resume.
Moving the show from Wednesday night is probably a smart decision on the part of ABC. “Lost” has never done as well as hoped after Fox added Wednesday night to its juggernaut “American Idol.” So far, nothing any other network has put up against “Idol” has succeeded toppling the highly popular singing contest.
