They’re baaaack for only one night on the big screen! In celebration of the film’s 25th Anniversary, “Poltergeist” will be shown in select movie theatres nationwide on Thursday, October 4th at 7:30PM (local). This special one-night event will also include a 15-minute never-before-seen glimpse into the real world of poltergeists.
Suburbanites Steve (Craig T. Nelson) and Diane (JoBeth Williams) suddenly experience paranormal activity in their home. What starts off as minor excitement quickly turns into nasty encounters. The disappearance of their daughter Carol Anne (Heather O’Rourke) forces the Freelings to bring in parapsychologists and a professional exorcist to exorcise their home.
This classic horror film was co-produced and co-written by Steven Spielberg, directed by Tobe Hooper and features Oscar Nominated Visual Effects by Richard Edlund, Michael Wood and Bruce Nicholson.
