I don’t mean to sound stupid or be insensative with this question, but did I miss something? I knew he was sick and all but did he pass away as well? If so, my humblest apologies for missing this and I’m saddened by the news. He always had the most insightful things to say and he thought a lot like I did in regards to many things. I will miss hearing him, and wish I’d gotten to meet him.

Indeed, I check the RSS of Slice a few times on a daily basis and listen to the show regularly and I missed this sad news!

No. Joe has not moved on. This fund is established to help offset the enormous medical costs and other bills that have resulted as a result of the cancer.

Joe is currently at a hospice center in Arizona and the fund is meant to help relieve his family from the added burden of those financial costs.

It is also a fund to help with research on Leiomyosarcoma, which is the cancer that Joe has. To be honest, Joe has only days left with us. I would suggest checking out http://www.kickassmysticninjas.com or http://www.michaelandevo.com for more in depth news about Joe.
