The original (and still the best) 007, Sean Connery age 76, hinted he may be interested in returning to the franchise that made him a star — if the price is right.
“It would have to be something really considerable to bring me back. It would have to be an offer that you can’t refuse.,” said Connery. “If there was a good part in a Bond film, I’d certainly look at it…I would never return as James Bond. If the part was well written, I could come back as Bond’s father but it would cost them. It would definitely cost them”
An on-screen apperance by Bond’s father might contradict established Bond continuity. In the novels and movies, Bonds parents were killed in a mountain climbing accident when he was a child. Of course, in films anything is possible, such as Bond’s father cropping up after all these years, having not died with his wife in the accident after all. Who knows?
Connery is also being pursued to reprise his role as Henry Jones in “Indiana Jones IV”. However, it appears that Connery has little interest in the role at this time.

It would be great if Connery came back as a villan!

ditto on the villain thing or maybe even one of the typical disposable henchman (for laughs)

Wow, Uh…thanks Connery, but the franchise is gonna be pretty fine without you. It’s stunt casting that the series no longer needs after the fusion of new blood with Casino Royale.
