Following on the heels of the recent Star Trek auction at Christies, CBS/Paramount is putting more Star Trek props and costumes up for sale and auction via It’s A Wrap!, a Los Angeles-based Hollywood memorabilia company. More importantly, the auction will be open on eBay and organizers are hoping that the prices will be more in reach of the average collector.
It’s A Wrap was founded 25 years ago by been selling props and costumes from completed Hollywood productions. The auction will feature items from all ten movies and all five live action Star Trek series, including several recognizable items, like the chairs from the Enterprise-D observation lounge, or a complete Borg alcove with dummy Borg from Star Trek: Voyager. The online auction will begin on December 15th, the start of retail sales has not yet been released.
I wonder if that company ever had any B5 or Firefly goodies to auction, and how well those sold…
