Chopra – Slice of SciFi’s Comment Goddess

Chopra – Slice of SciFi’s Comment Goddess

Back in June of this year we did a story about Joss Whedon’s possible pick to play Wonder Woman in his reimaging of the famous Amazonian superheroine. We mentioned that India actress Priyanka Chopra, was on Joss’ A-Type Short List for the role.

At the time we reported the story we had no idea that Chopra, India’s superstar actress, recently seen in the Bollywood blockbuster superman-like flick “Krrish,” would spark such a storm of controversy from fans of the golden lasso wielding comic book star.

Priyanka Chopra wins the most comments award for any story we have posted thus far on Slice of SciFi. As of this writing, her story has garnered 100 online comments from fans across the globe. This is not counting the nearly 100 emails I have received over the same period, and I have no idea how many emails on the subject my partners at Slice have received about our story.

Everyone who commented had their own opinion on whom they felt the next Wonder Woman should be, running the gamut from total unknowns, Lynda Carter look-alikes, Tyra Banks and Angelina Jolie..and the list went on. We were also surprised by the overwhelming support Ms. Chopra received from all corners of the map, not just India. If Joss Whedon should happen upon us here —

Joss! Are you listening?

Priyanka chopra needs to learn acting first and then she should b chosen as an actress. Shez okay for roles where clothes need to be taken off and she needs to seduce some guy.Bt in roles where acting is needed shes da last one who shud b chosen.

Joss does tend for the petite and pretty but, I think dark horse favorite britney spears could do for wonder women what hailey barry did for cat women.

I think he should be careful who he picks for Wonder Women she is no ordinary girl and she must lead by example for the young girls in the world to look up to. If she is made out to be not like the real deal. shabang wonder women will be made to be a joke. Wonder women respects herself and is a great role model to the ones who really know her. It would be a shame if the movie goes flop because of some cheezy sleezy bimbo.
