Stewart Joins London Trek CON

October 26, 2006 By S. K. Sloan Leave a Comment

Beginning on January 5, 2007 and lasting for 3-big days the gigantic Star Trek Creationent CON will invade The Hilton Metropole Hotel in London, England – continuing the 40th celebration of this much loved franchise into the new year.

The great news about this convention is the guest of honor. Renowned actor Patrick Stewart (Captain Picard) will be on hand to talk about all his years with the Trek franchise, the successful after-career as the head-master of the X-Men film series, and his even longer thespian career as a much sought after Shakespearean stage performer. Patrick will also be doing a very rare signing for a limited number of fans.

Joining Patrick are two members of the classic Star Trek crew… Walter Koenig (Chekov) and George Takei (Captain Sulu)! Both gentlemen have been quite busy lately with all the 40th Anniversary hoopla ongoing, as well as their busy shooting schedules on various film projects, however, they have expressed their happiness at being able to make the trip to celebrate with their fans overseas. Also onboard, making a very rare CON appearance is Colm Meaney (Miles O’Brien), Marc Alaimo (Gul Dukat) and every Trek fan’s favorite – especially the ladies, Conner Trinneer (Enterprise’s “Trip” Tucker). In addition, Richard Arnold, the world’s leading Star Trek expert and Gene Roddenberry’s right hand man for over 15 years will be onboard to talk about all his years of involvment with the franchise and will take fan’s questions in panel discussions. And, Creation Entertainment is promising even more guests to come.

There’s special STAR TREK events, contests, tributes, music videos, salutes to DeForest Kelley and James Doohan, auctions, blooper reel screenings, discussions, parties, autographing and celebrity photo ops, and best of all, tons of fellow fans to meet!

Make your plans now to start 2007 off with a huge joyous three day party celebration. You can find out more by visiting the STAR TREK LONDON CON official Website.
