Variety is reporting that actor Jack Coleman, the cheerleader Claire Bennett’s uber-weird, horned-glasses clad father, has been tapped to be a series-regular beginning with the 11th episode.
This is good news because this character has already become a focal point of fear for those with special abilities, and we know that he has at least one worker of the unbelievable already working with him…the mysterious man who can wipe one’s mind totally clean of all memories.
The big question remains – who is the man behind those horn-rimmed glasses? Is he solo or with an organization? And, what, if any, powers might he have?
John Hummel says
What, you didn’t know about Mr. Bennett’s special powers? Other than appearing really creepy, his special ability is to act something like the X-Files Cancer Man without the carcinogens.
Tony says
That’s a strange thing…he’s been in every episode aired so far. What do they have to do to make the upgrade to cast regular?
Ari says
Is it just me, or are the glasses a blatant Clark Kent nod?
Sam says
I think the original premise was to kill him off after epi 4 or 5 – but now that has been junked because his character has become too intriquing and too central to Claire and Matt’s storyline.
Miranda says
Has to do with contract negotiations I believe. But I am glad to see that he is going to stick around… I mean anyone who gets their own anagram, like HRG, deserves to be a regular!
Now if we could just learn his first name!! LOL
