LOST Producers Promise Some Questions Will Be Answered In Season 3

wall-08 copy.jpgSome of the upcoming plots to the episodes of the third season of ABC’s LOST were revealed this weekend at the Comic-CON in San Diego, California.

The first bit of news from show’s producers will be music to the ears of many fans. Although J.J. Abrams, the show’s creator, has left his arrangement with Touchstone Television, he has agreed to co-write the season premiere episode “A Tale of Two Cities” and directs an episode later in the season.

Here are just a small listing of some of the things viewers will be able to learn over the course of this new season of LOST which will begin in the fall of this year:

  • Producers promise a lot more action and adventure that will focus on that mysterious group known as The Others.
  • We get to see more of the relationship betweent Desmond and Penny.
  • Find out why Locke was paralyzed.
  • What put Libby in the asylum (yes, even though killed-off, she will make more appearances).
  • What is the secret behind the island’s eerie healing powers>
  • And, it looks like Kate will finally make a choice of which hunk on the island she wants to hook up with.
  • For those who need to catch up, the first six episodes will be in miniseries style to wrap up many of the issues raised in the season two finale, and will setup its cliffhanger for the second half of the season.

LOST returns with its six new episodes on October 4, 2006 (Wednesdays at 9 PM ET/PT), before taking a 13-week break, as we described in an earlier story (LOST, The Non-repeater).
