The Apprenticeship of Leatherface

June 17, 2006 By Kyle Nin Leave a Comment

texas_chainsaw_massacre__the_beginning.jpgOn those cold winter snowy nights while sitting in front of the fireplace snuggled up with your sweetheart and sipping on a nice steaming cup of Earl Grey did you ever wonder how Leatherface got his start in the old chainsaw slasher business? In “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning” all the questions that enquiring minds have wanted to know will be anwered. This movie takes you to his start as a young inquisitive tyke on his first kill.

On one last road trip before they’re sent to serve in Vietnam, two friends and their girlfriends get into an accident that calls their local sheriff to the scene. Thus begins a terrifying experience where the teens are taken to a secluded house of horrors, where a young, would-be killer is being nurtured and they become the first is a long series of victims who get to witness the birth of fear.

Look for Leatherface to crank up the chainsaw for the first time on October 6, 2006 in a theater near you.

The movie stars Jordana Brewster, Taylor Handley, Diora Baird, Matthew Bomer, R. Lee Ermey and Andrew Bryniarski as Leatherface. The script comes from Kim Henkel, Tobe Hooper, David J. Schow and Sheldon Turner with Jonathan Liebesman directing the effort (Liebesman is currently in production shooting the next Friday the 13th sequel).
