Ridley Scott’s “Blade Runner: Final Cut” will arrive for a limited 25th Anniversary theatrical run in 2007. This classic scifi flick starring Harrison Ford, Rutger Hauer, Sean Young, Daryl Hannah and Edward James Olmos was voted by you, the fans, to be your greatest science fiction movie of all-time in our recent Slice of SciFi Voter’s Poll.
The limited theatrical release next year will be followed up by a special edition DVD release being offered in three versions: The Original Theatrical Version, The Director’s Cut, and the Expanded International Theatrical Cut for alternative viewing and are included with loads of bonus material.

Great Movie…
I’ve watched it so many times I no longer really enjoy it… Maybe in 5 years I will take another look… 🙂
I still enjoy it, but how many versions of one movie can one person own?
It is about time this film got a decent DVD release
This is great news. I know its heresy to say so, but I like the original theatrical release with the voice-over. It gives a bit better insight into what Decker is thinking and makes clear some of the moral ambiguity of the film.
While I liked the director’s cut, I’ve always thought the voice-overs improved the story (perhaps detracting from the movie, but the story was improved).
It’ll be nice to have a real copy of the theatrical version.
Deckard isn’t supposed to be a replicant though! He isn’t in the book.
About friggin time! I agree, I like the theatrical release better, but only the director’s cut has been available, so this is great news.
