LOST – May 3 , 2006 – Oh My God!

May 4, 2006 By S. K. Sloan 7 Comments

****** SPOILER ALERT ********* SPOILER ALERT ***********

If you did not see “LOST” last night on ABC then you had better not read this short article because it contains a major SPOILER.

The producers of the hit ABC Show have dealt harshly with their two troublesome children from “LOST”

Michelle Rodriguez, who plays troubled cop Ana-Lucia Cortez and Cynthia Watros, who stars as Libby have both been done away with, being quickly dispatched with a couple of bullets. The fact that these two actors are now gone should come as no surprise to anyone who has been keeping up with their off-the-set run-ins with the local law enforcement in Hawaii. Both Rodriquez and Watros were arrested within minutes of each other for driving while under the influence. Rodriquez did 5-days of jail time, while Watros had her licence suspended.

What is surprising is the way they met their demise and by whom. Just as in real life when they were arrested only minutes apart, ironically, in the series they are killed by, of all people, Michael, only minutes apart from one another down in the hatch room.

Is this truly the end of Ana Lucia and Libby. I guess we will have to keep watching to be sure. In scifi, dead has a way of not staying dead……just ask Spock and Kirk.

Just goes to show, if you’re on a high rating TV series and screw it up, don’t mess with J. J. Abrams – he’s a stone cold killer. 🙂

Technically, couldn’t Libby come back in Hurley’s flashbacks?

You’re in a big-assed hit TV show, and you don’t know how to behave off (or on) the set.
So, your character gets dispatched. And you’re out of a cherry gig.
See? That’s what happens when you don’t appreciate your good fortune.
    Oh, well.

I have a feeling one of them will still be alive but in a coma. Just to make you know who nervous that she’ll wake up and tell what really went down.

I’m not a huge fan of “Lost”, but I look up from my laptop occasionally when my man is watching it. I was sorry to see Libby get shot. I got excited when they showed that she had actually been a patient in the mental ward with Hurley. Cythia Watros played the most entertaining psychotic I ever saw on TV years ago when she was on “Guiding Light” and I was hoping to see a little of that spark again.

I finally got a chance to watch this episode last night (thank God for DVR!), so I was finally able to read this post. I’m betting Brian from Winnipeg is right, and I think it will be Ana-Lucia in the coma. For those that watched the previews, the statement was made “She’s dead”, not “They’re dead”. Also, Cynthia Watros is in a pilot for a new show to possibly air on another network (can’t remember the specifics now), which goes to my theory as to “who” is in the coma.

Or, I could just be full of it.
