J.J. Abrams, LOST’s co-creator has a favorite charity and fans from across America will be throwing a huge party in Los Angeles on May 20th (one month from today) in which the proceeds will will go to the “Children’s Defense Fund. This charity advocates on behalf of children particulary in the area of health care and education. Fans of the series can bid on autographed scripts and other memorabilia from the hit show. Several stars from the show plan on attending the party and hobnobbing with fans including Abrams.
Cynthia Watros, who stars as Libby on the show will be joining Tom Cavanagh over at the competition on CBS for a guest appearance on Tom Cavanagh’s new show “My Ex-Life.” Watros will show up on the pilot episode of the new sitcom. Rumors are spreading that Watros may be leaving LOST to foster a full-time spot on “My Ex-Life” but don’t believe it. Watros is quite happy on LOST, especially now that her character is starting to get more camera time visa vie her blossoming romance with Hurley. However, she and her fellow actresses on “LOST” have indicated on more than one occassion that a show which affords more shower time would be nice, but reliable sources are assuring fans that both she and management are happy with her continuing on the island. Yet, this is showbiz so only time and the writers will tell the whole story of the fate of Libby.
