Warner Bros. will be releasing “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” on July 13th, 2007. That according to MuggleNet which is also reporting that J.K. Rowling, the Harry Potter creator, will be providing an essay for Willa Shalit’s new book entitled “Becoming Myself: Reflections on Growing Up Female.”
This will be the fifth film in the Potter series. Rowling has hinted that this may be the last, but the lingering question is, “Will it really?” It may be the last film she is directly involved in, but I rather doubt that if the studio has its way. Book six, “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince” is still out there and due for a film release in November 2008, while book seven is rumored to be on the way with an as yet unnamed title and a projected release date for bookstores in July 2007 coinciding with the release of the fifth film.
So, there will still be plenty of Harry shooting left for a few years to come.
