Fox Atomic Films is in the pre-production stage of “28 Weeks Later,” the sequel to the unexpected British hit “28 Days Later.”

Alex Garland, who wrote the first screenplay, will pen this one as well and Danny Boyle, along with Andrew Macdonald will produce.

Since this project is still in the very early stages of development, the rest of the crew and cast have yet to be named. This will be one of the the first films for the newly formed Fox Atomic.
