StarWars.com is participating in an auctioning off of six unique pieces of “Attack of the Clones” memorabilia to raise funds for the next Medicinema which is to be built in Glasgow, Scotland.
MediCinema is a unique charity, bringing the magic of the silver screen to patients by building state of the art cinemas in hospitals. It’s absolutely free for patients and their families, because of the fabulous support they receive – from the film distributors, sponsors and their corporate supporters Vue Entertainment and the Walt Disney Company.
All MediCinema’s are purpose built to allow easy access for patients including those in beds and wheelchairs. As the lights dim and the film starts, with the big screen filled and Dolby Surround Sound bursting into life, patients can be forgiven for thinking they are spending the night on the town. Apart from the occasional bleep of a patient’s monitor you could be in any cinema!
If you would like to take part in the auction to help out this important work, head over to StarWars.com.
