“So what am I? Escaped mental patient? Alien that sees in black and white? Government lobotomy experiment? What else was I to think? For a guy who had all the answers, I didn’t have the ones that mattered the most.” — John Doe
This is the tagline for The SciFi Channel’s new episodic show John Doe starring Dominic Purcell as the mystery man, and William Forsythe as his only reliable confidant.
Who is he? He knows everything about everything except who he is.
“John Doe” begins on Friday January 20, 2006 on The SciFi Channel at 7/6C.

Yessssss!!!
I really liked this show. But I was so heartbroken over the dropping of Firefly that I stopped watching John Doe.
But is this a new batch o’ John? Or a re-running of what Fox had and killed?

This was a good show. I was very disappointed when it got cancelled.

Ahh, John Doe.
I remember watching this on FOX a few years ago. I think I was the only one. I saw every episode, and the end left me hanging.
Great show, but ultimately unsatisfying.

I agree with Corby. This was a great show (you weren’t the only one watching). But a warning to all…FOX cancelled it on a cliff hanger, so unless SciFi is making new episodes don’t get too attached.

This show had a lot of promise, but the writing petered out near the end.

Yeah, I remember watching this one too. It started out good, but I kinda lost interest. Kinda like “Sliders”. Just couldn’t get into it.

Yeah I have seen a few eps of this before. It was ok.
