The good folks at TV Shows On DVD report that Universal Studio’s Home Entertainement has given exclusive rights to Best Buy to sell Battlestar Galactica: The Complete First Season two months before other retailers.

The early “Battlestar Galactica” DVD For Best Buy customers will be released in Best Buy stores on July 26, 2005 for $69.99.

Other retailers will sell the DVD set on September 20, 2005 for a price that is unknown at the moment. It should be expected to be around the SRP of $69.99.
