More “Supernatural” Casting News

July 1, 2009 by Michael Hickerson   || Category: TV News

Ever since the Winchester boys opened a gate to hell to end the second season, series creator Eric Kripke has been wondering one thing–did the demon Meg, who tormented the brothers in the first season of the show escape?

“I’ve been wondering, what Meg’s doing out there,” Kripke told TV Guide.  “I’ve been continually asking the writers, ‘Where’s Meg?” She’s would make a really formidable adversary.”

This is where it’s good to be the executive producer of the show.  Kripke was able to bring her back for the upcoming fifth season.

“I got impatient and ended up writing her into my own script,” Kripke said.

The role will be played by actress Rachel Minor according to TV Guide.  The original Meg was played by Nicki Aycox.  However, the body hosting Meg was killed when Sam and Dean exorcised the demon Meg in the first season finale.

This is awesome, Meg was a character i loved to hate. I’ll bet she’s pissed that Sam and Dean killed her dad.

Her name is Rachel Miner, not Minor.
