Worthy Could Join “Heroes”

June 17, 2009 by Michael Hickerson   || Category: TV News

Another “Battlestar Galactica” alum is finding work on a popular Monday night drama.

This time it’s actor Rick Worthy who played the Cylon Simon on “Battlestar.”  The Hollywood Reporter reports Worthy is currently negotiating to join “Heroes” next year in a recurring role.

Worthy would play a new police partner for series regular Matt Parkman, played by Greg Grunberg.  The role is described as “an experienced and capable Los Angeles cop and someone that Matt can lean on for advice.”

Wait, in Season Two, Parkman had transferred to the NYPD. Now he’s back with the LAPD even though he had torched his career there in Season One?

    Wha?

::waves sideways Cub Scout salute:: This is not the plot hole you’re looking for.

Parkman can just convince the people in charge of hiring him back with his Jedi mind tricks. (At least, that’s what I’m betting the writers will do.)
