Wonder Twins Action Figures to Debut at ComicCon

“Wonder Twin powers, activate!”

Fans of Zan, Jana and Gleek from the popular 70’s cartoon series “The Superfriends” will soon be able to add the characters to their action-figure collection. Mattel is gearing up to produce action-figure versions of the popular duo and Gleek the monkey as part of the DC Universe Classics line according to Action Figure Insider. The duo will make their debut this summer at the San Diego Comic Con.

Fans may recall that Zan and Jana could transform into various other things once their powers were active. Jana could transform into virutally any animal she called out and Zan was stuck with the short end of the stick, being able to only transform into water-based forms (usually the form of a bucket of water or an ice seat for Gleek to sit on while they flew into battle). The set will include a version of Jana and Zan as a bucket of water.

The ComicCon set will feature an exclusive add-on for attendees–a figure of monkey pal, Gleek. Fans can purchase the Gleek-free set after the show at MattyCollector.com.
