Friends, Enemies Could Return for Tennant’s Final Outing

March 23, 2009 By Mike Hickerson 2 Comments

MSN is reporting that for David Tennant’s final voyage in the TARDIS fans could see the return of a lot of familiar faces, including Billie Piper, Catherine Tate and Freema Ageyman.   Also included could be John Simms as the Master and Jessica Hynes, who played the Doctor’s love-interest while he was human in “Human Nature/The Family of Blood” from series three.

The BBC hasn’t confirmed any of this information yet.  It does leave you wondering if its true since we just saw a reunion of the Doctor and his travelling companions at the end of series four.

Could this be a reporter mistaking a rumor from last year for one about this year?  Or will it actually happen?

Were it not for the tidbits about John Simms and Jessica Hynes, it’d be easy to dismiss this one as an old rumor cropping back up or an early April Fool’s joke.

We can only hope that RTD has put away whatever he was smoking and realizes that capping off his era with just more of the same Anticipointment would seriously be a bad idea. BTW its John Simm not Simms.

I am glad Billie Piper might be coming back I absolutely love Rose she is the best companion ever and deserves to be in the last special with David Tennant as they have the best partnership ever
