BBC: Children in Need Will Promo Christmas Who

October 27, 2008 by Michael Hickerson   || Category: TV News

Looks like the reunion of all the remaining Doctors will have to wait at least another year.

The BBC issued a statement over the weekend saying this year’s segment on “Children in Need” for “Doctor Who” would be a clip of the first two minutes of this year’s Christmas special, “The Next Doctor.”

“This never-seen-before footage is a worldwide exclusive and will keep fans all over the globe wondering what’s in store for the Doctor’s next adventure ,” the BBC said.

The Next Doctor” will star David Tennant as the Doctor and also guest-star David Morrissey. The clip will air Friday, November 14 on BBC1.

It sounds like a good idea to get the future doctor to meet his earlier incarnation during the tenth doctors era to prevent continuity issues later on
