New Cast Member for Star Trek: New Voyages

June 6, 2006 By S. K. Sloan 1 Comment

One of the crew of Manny Coto’s “Odyssey 5” series will be starring opposite Star Trek icon George Takei in the fan film production of “World Enough and Time.”

Leslie Silva, who played the female lead Sarah Forbes in the fan-loved but short-lived Showtime series, will star opposite George in the upcoming Sulu episode of the internet series. The actress will play a character named Alana.

Silva has an impressive resume having starred in the STAR TREK: Enterprise episode “Daedalus,” “Cosby,” “Homicide: Life on the Streets,” “ER,” “Cold Case” “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” and “CSI: Miami.”

James Cawley, Executive Producer of “Star Trek: New Voyages” reports that the selection of Leslie was happily approved by the producers of the highly celebrated web series.
