Director Corin Hardy talks about his latest feature, WHISTLE, and myths around death totems and memento mori.
Corin talks about how he fell in love with the original story by writer Owen Egerton (based on his own short story), and how he was intrigued by the mythology around the Aztec Death Whistle and wanting to explore what its mythology means for the people who fall into it’s spell.
And of course, his commitment to practical effects is always appreciated!
WHISTLE will be in theaters February 6, 2026 from Shudder and RLJE Films.
