Acclaimed comics writer Jim Zub is writing the new main Conan the Barbarian series from Titan Comics, and he talks about creating new stories in that world, the reprints of the Savage Sword of Conan, and several other Conan series.

He talks about his history writing Conan for other imprints before landing with these new projects at Titan Comics, expanding beyond the original Robert E. Howard stories while maintaining connection to the canon materials. The interest in pulp fantasy’s historical roots runs deep (Howard, Lovecraft, and Clark Ashton Smith), and we’re here for it.

Jim is also spearheading the continuing Conan stories as well as stories featuring other Robert E. Howard heroes like Solomon Kane, Kull (coming to Titan in 2027) and more.
