Filmmaker Andrew Bell stops by to talk about Bleeding, a story about dealing with addictions, grief, despair, and vampires at the center of it all, but not in the way you’d imagine.

It’s a wild, dark & brutal concept, having humans hunt vampires to use their blood to create an addictive substance called Dust, and the war on drugs being a literal government hunt to capture or eradicate vampires to stop the epidemic of addiction, overdoses and turnings because of Dust.

But the main story is a character-driven look at how the people are affected by the various addictions to drugs and to the money that can be made from drugs while not caring about any of the direct and indirect damage those addictions can cause.
