Noah and Daren join Summer to chat about the movies, television shows, graphic novels, video games and more that made an impression on their 2021 entertainment choices.

First, we chat about the appeal and the drawbacks of reading digital and print comics, and of buying & collecting comics.
Join the Future, Seven Secrets, Sera and the Royal Stars, The Scumbag

Next, comic book superhero movies are dissected and discussed. Are we burned out?
The Suicide Squad, Shang-Chi, Black Widow, pining for Daredevil and more.

Weighing in on other genre movies: what’s the best way to watch the new Dune, streaming on big screen?

Who knew that eventually several horror-comedies would get made that Summer could enjoy? PG: Psycho GOREman, Jakob’s Wife, Werewolves Within, and Freaky is on the watch list. Other indie films on the list are The Boy Behind the Door, Initiation; Witch Hunt and Needle in a Timestack.

There’s a brief Beatles documentary tangent, and a little bit of anti-Beatles vitriol. And we would also eagerly watch a extended documentary on the Making of The Many Justice Leagues.

For television, Daren enjoyed The Boys, The Witcher, and Outlander. Noah enjoyed WandaVision and Dota: Dragon’s Blood, and both Daren and Summer are looking forward to Moon Knight in 2022.

After talking about movie adaptations of games, Daren runs down his 2021 gaming list: Ghost of Tsushima, Cyberpunk 2077, and waiting for Halo Infinite.

Finally, Summer recounts the Hero Collector reference book releases for 2021, and you really should check all of them out for yourselves.

What genre entertainment media brought a little more joy to your 2021? Let us know! Send Summer an email, or leave a message in the comments below!
