Writer/Director Corinna Faith stops by to talk about her latest feature, The Power, about building a narrative with a tense, slow build, and incorporating toxic power dynamics found between institutional settings and the caste of people they’re supposed to serve as a source of terror.

She also talks about why she wrote this story to tackle as her first project to direct, what she looked forward to in creating the film’s atmosphere, and more.
