This week’s guests are the creators of the “Steal the Stars” audio drama at Tor Labs; Mac Rogers (writer), Sean Williams (producer), Nat Cassidy (actor, author), and Jordana Williams (director). All of them have extensive stage and screen experience, and we talk about their new challenges of putting together a serialized audio production.

Mac talks about writing a government conspiracy crime noir tale as the background for an illicit love affair, and how they decide that the only way they can be free to love each other is to expose the conspiracy and steal the research. Yes, it’s a scifi-flavored episode of Leverage!

Jordana talks about the differences between directing stage performances and the performances of the voice actors, the close collaborations needed to get the best recordings into the final productions, and more.

You can find “Steal the Stars” at Tor Labs, and subscribe to the podcast through iTunes, Google Play, Stitchers, Spotify and Soundcloud. It’s a fun story and if you’re a fan of heists and multinational corporations running secret government-funded projects, you’ll enjoy this story.
