Review: Another Perspective on “Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice”

Review: Another Perspective on “Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice”

March 28, 2016 By Noah Richman and Daren Gulsvig Leave a Comment

Noah and Daren discuss “Batman vs Superman”, talking about their expectations going into seeing the film, especially their reservations about some previous portrayals of Batman and Superman.

Ultimately they were disappointed by much of the film, feeling that the story of what makes a hero gets lost in trying to be too dark & relentlessly gritty, and the many things that make a story enjoyable don’t come into play until Wonder Woman shows up and really gets the movie going.

Has this film been overshadowed by the better storytelling available in the Warner Bros. animated series and animated feature films?
