This week, The Magicians cast member Arjun Gupta talks about becoming a magician, and the satisfaction he gets from working with practical effects as much as possible. He also teases the upcoming larger role his character, Penny, will be playing out the rest of Season 1, and as we all look forward to more in Season 2.

Arjun also has some projects he’s working on outside of The Magicians, including French Dirty (a film you can now see on Netflix), and his work with Ammunition Theatre Company in Los Angeles as co-founder (their next show begins Feb 18th).

Check out more from Arjun on Twitter @ArjunGuptaBK, and at American Desis Podcast.
