Writer and director Matt Osterman joins us this week to talk about 400 Days, his latest film and a scifi-thriller feature that explores the psychological effects of deep space travel on the human mind and body. Matt talks about the inspiration for the idea of the film, the challenge of short shooting window, the hopes of doing a commentary track for the eventual Blu-ray release, and more.

400 Days is available to watch now in select theaters, on Amazon, iTunes, and other VOD platforms, and will air on Syfy Channel later this year.

400 DAYS centers on four astronauts sent on a simulated mission to a distant planet to test the psychological effects of deep space travel. Locked away for 400 days, the crew’s mental state begins to deteriorate when they lose all communication with the outside world. The feature film stars Brandon Routh and Caity Lotz (who also star in the upcoming Arrow/Flash spinoff series DC’s Legends of Tomorrow), Emmy® nominee Ben Feldman (Mad Men), comedian Dane Cook (Detention, Mr. Brooks), Tom Cavanaugh (The Flash) and Grant Bowler (Defiance).

Starring: Caity Lotz, Brandon Routh, Ben Feldman, Dane Cook, Tom, Cavanagh, Grant Bowler
Directed and written by: Matt Osterman
Produced by: Gabe Cowan and John Suits
