“Manos: The Hands of Fate”. Soundtrack. Vinyl. Who knew that one of the worst movies had a surprisingly good light jazz score?

That’s right, Manos: The Hands of Fate — frequently voted the worst movie ever (by people who have happily avoided Battlefield: Earth), and made famous for a new generation of B-movie fans with it’s Mystery Science Theater 3000 treatment — will now have it’s jazz soundtrack remastered and available on vinyl.

Manos the Hands of FateThe original soundtrack for Manos: The Hands of Fate has pressed onto glorious vinyl by Ship to Shore PhonoCo, and they are now taking pre-orders for the LP, which is to be released mid-September!

This limited edition release features exclusive liner notes on a 4 page booklet insert by VideoScope columnist Tim Ferrante and “Manos” vocalist Nicki Mathis, and will be presented on three different vinyl formats: red & black “Master Edition” swirl, only available through the Ship to Shore PhonoCo. webstore (600 pressed, retailing at $23); brown “Torgo Edition” available in the U.S. from Light In The Attic and in the E.U. from One Way Static (600 pressed, retailing at $23); and a standard black vinyl edition available from all good record shops (800 pressed, retailing at $21).

The wonderful lo-fi jazz score by Russ Huddleston and Robert Smith Jr. is an integral part of the movie’s charm and Ship to Shore PhonoCo. are proud to announce this release as part of their roster.

The album will be released mid-September and is available to pre-order now: http://shiptoshore.storenvy.com
