Blumhouse Productions and Focus Features debuted the Sinister 2 teaser at Wondercon this weekend,
In the aftermath of the shocking events in “Sinister,” a protective mother (Shannyn Sossamon of “Wayward Pines”) and her 9-year-old twin sons (real-life twins Robert and Dartanian Sloan) find themselves in a rural house marked for death as the evil spirit of Buhguul continues to spread with frightening intensity.
The first official trailer will debut April 9, with the film premiering in theaters August 21.

Focus Features also released the teaser for Insidious Chapter 3 this weekend, teasing the story that shows where the haunting began.
This chilling prequel, set before the haunting of the Lambert family, reveals how gifted psychic Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead in order to help a teenage girl (Stefanie Scott) who has been targeted by a dangerous supernatural entity.
Insidious Chapter 3 will be in theaters June 5.
