Vlad’s Transformation Revealed in “Dracula Untold”

Vlad’s Transformation Revealed in “Dracula Untold”

July 2, 2014 By S. K. Sloan Leave a Comment

“Sometimes the world doesn’t need another hero.  Sometimes what it needs is a monster.”

Universal Studios sets out to tell the story of the origins of Dracula as it has never been done in past efforts.

Director Gary Shore helms an epic adventure that will reveal the face of the most feared, mysterious and beloved character of horror and thrillers – Count Dracula.

Dracula Untold offers a glimpse of the mere mortal human prince who sought nothing more than to protect his family, his people and his land but sought out the ways and means to do that honorable thing from the most mercenary person and place imaginable. The cost of his quest? The sacrifice of his own soul and humanity.

Dracula Untold stars Luke Evans (Fast & Furious 6, Immortals), Charles Dance (Game of Thrones), Sarah Gadon (World Without End) , Dominic Cooper (Captain America: The First Avenger) and Samantha Barks (Les Miserables).   It debuts in theaters on October 17, 2014.
