JINN is a sci-fi thriller revolving around the protagonist named Shawn (Dominic Rains), a simple man happy with his newly married life centered on his fulfilling job as an automotive engineer and the desire to begin the dream of all young men – a family. Shawn’s idyllic life is soon torn to shreds after receiving a cryptic message that warns of the end of Earth-life as it currently exists. Hopelessly lost on what to do about the message of destruction he turns to a mysterious person named Gabriel (Ray Park), a Father Westhoff (William Atherton) and a mentally-challenged patient named Ali (Faran Tahir). Shawn and his assembled “experts” begin unraveling an eternal mystery of the unknown and an ancient evil that has always remained on the fringes of consciousness until now.
Written and directed by Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad (It’s a Mismatch), JINN makes its theatrical debut on April 4, 2014. Until then enjoy this official trailer.
