January 22, 2014 By Summer Brooks Leave a Comment

Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy is billed as a “shockumentary”, a collection that highlights the history of Freddy Krueger and the legacy of the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, available again as 2-disc collector’s editions on Blu-ray and DVD.

For fans of the Elm Street series, the extensive collection of features about the making of the movies and all the work that went into creating the mythology of Freddy and the films that followed will be a treat.

The documentary and each of the supplemental features have tidbits that Nightmare fans will enjoy, both comical and informative, and seeing all the behind the scenes and special segments could require a few bathroom breaks — the main feature runs close to 4 hours, and that’s just the first disc!
