“Interstellar” directed by Batman’s Christopher Nolan, starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine and an award winning supporting cast. In theaters November 2014

“The Amazing Spider Man 2” – starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Paul Giamatti and Sally Field. In theaters May 2014

“300: Rise of an Empire” – based on the Frank Miller graphic novel Xerxes and starring Rodrigo Santoro, Eva Green and Lena Headey. In theaters March 2014

“Captain America: The Winter Soldier” – starring Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson and Robert Redford as Alexander Pierce. In theaters April 2014

      There were several not listed. I generally picked one from each month between now and July. Interstellar isn’t out until November but I included it because just like Bruce says below – it is likely the only promising one in the bunch for 2014 and I wanted at least one that seemed interesting enough to spend a buck or two on in theaters.

    It’s sad these are supposed to be the top picks. I’ll never understand the popularity of comic book movies 🙁
    The only one that looks promising is “Interstellar”
