And the Title of the “Sharknado” Sequel Is…

August 9, 2013 By News Droid 4 Comments

Wait for it…

…Sharknado 2: The Second One.

Syfy announced the tagline of the sequel, which was chosen from entries submitted via a Twitter contest.

Fans of the film took to social media outlets again yesterday to suggest what they felt were better titles for the upcoming film.

The sequel will be set in New York City and air in 2014.

As Meghan said, “Twitter, I expected better from you.”

So, what do you think of the title?  Do you have a more clever title?  Share it with us.

Weak, very weak. I kind of like Sons of Sharknado or Sharknado Takes A Bite Out Of The Big Apple.

Where’s the wink-wink-nudge-nudge for “Sharknado 2: The Next Generation” or “Sharknado 2: Revenge of the Sharks”?
