Battlestar Galactica alum Tahmoh Penikett is joining the CW’s Supernatural for the upcoming ninth season.
Penikett will have a recurring role in the upcoming season as Ezekiel. According to the Hollywood Reporter, his character is a “dignified warrior angel injured in the Fall.” The “Fall” refers to a scene in the season eight finale in which angels fell from heaven to earth.
Penikett will make his debut on the show in the upcoming season premiere.
The actor is no stranger to genre shows and the CW. He appeared in the first season of Arrow and he’s also appeared in Dollhouse and Continuum.
There is no word yet on if Penikett might be in the running to be part of the upcoming Supernatural spin-off. We will keep our eyes and ears opened and let you know if we hear anything.
