Swimming Dinosaurs in 3-D!

Swimming Dinosaurs in 3-D!

June 24, 2013 By Mike Hickerson 6 Comments

For the upcoming fourth Jurassic Park movie, director Colin Trevorrow plans to take audiences back to the original island and he’ll do it in 3-D!

Jurassic Park 4 will reportedly feature underwater dinosaurs and be the first film shot in 3-D.

According to JoBlo, the sequel will see John Hammond’s original vision for a dinosaur theme park fully realized.

At the Sea World-style resort on Isla Nublar, dinosaurs such as velociraptors and tyrannosaurus rexes will be tamed and muzzled, while in one sequence a giant underwater beast will allegedly jump out of a lagoon and eat a strung-up great white shark.

A dinosaur unseen in the previous movies will provide the main threat in the film when it breaks free and rampages across the park.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes screenwriters Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver have provided the script for Jurassic Park 4.

Sam Neil recently claimed that his character Dr Alan Grant will not appear in the sequel, which he described as “a big reboot, a total rejig” of the series.

    Wow 3D!!!
I could never have ever guessed that this high-budget film, based on a long known franchise, that is being made in an era when all films are in 3D, would be 3D!

This is news like no one has ever heard before, lots of people will be extremely surprised to hear that this film will be in 3D!

Sarcasm aside, I really couldn’t give a crap about anything being in Blurry-Vision.

I am having some serious flashbacks to Jaws III (in 3D) and it’s not all good. Maybe if they got Dennis Quaid then maybe.

seek help. dwelling too long on memories of any scenes from any Jaws movie numbered higher than 2 may cause temporary idiocy and permanent emotional scars.

I agree over all except that 3 was enjoyable for other reasons… that said my thoughts on Jaws > 3 is the same as JP > 2… I maintain that they don’t exist and product of collective delusion.

You know what would be fun? If they got Ariana Richards http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000611/?ref_=tt_cl_t9 and Joseph Mazzello http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001515/?ref_=tt_cl_t7 to reprise their roles as Lex ad Tim. This time they could be the adventurers adventuring.

Lets hope its shot in 3D and not a blurry post conversion. The 48 frames per second 3D used in The Hobbit looks promising.
