Clark Gregg isn’t the only one eager to return to the Marvel movie universe in Joss Whedon’s upcoming Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Samuel L. Jackson has expressed interested in donning the leather trench coat and eye patch to play Nick Fury for the upcoming ABC series.
“If I was going to do S.H.I.E.L.D., I’d like to be — you know Charlie’s voice on Charlie’s Angels? That would be perfect. Because everybody recognizes my voice. That would be good enough for me. And I told Joss that,” Jackson tells Vulture.
Whether or not Whedon casts Jackson remains to be seen. But if Joss won’t let him play in the S.H.I.E.L.D. sandbox, he says he is also interested in returning to the Star Wars sand box.
Jackson expressed interest in reviving Mace Windu for J.J. Abrams’ seventh Star Wars movie.
No word yet on if Jackson would take a role in Snakes on a Plane 2.
