It’s another Sci-Fi to Sci-Fact moment: Taking another cue and inspiration from Star Trek and Iron Man modern space science is currently developing a space-dive suit that will be able to withstand being in the total vacuum of space and stand up under the extreme stresses of reentry into a planetary atmosphere.
The suit is being designed and created, not by NASA, but via private corporate enterprising companies, Juxtopia LLC and Solar System Express. The RL MARK VI Space Diving Ensemble will allow for precision guidance through space, the atmosphere and then pinpoint landing on a planet’s surface.
Move over Jim Kirk and Tony Stark and make room for RL MARK VI.
