Warner Brothers Quashes Kickstarter Revival Campaigns

Warner Brothers Quashes Kickstarter Revival Campaigns

May 6, 2013 By News Droid Leave a Comment

If you were hoping the Kickstarter campaign to bring back Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series would get those series back on the air, we’ve got some bad news.

Warner Brothers has reportedly blocked the campaign to bring the shows back.

SMGO.tv, which met the studio to discuss plans for funding the canceled DC Nation series, said that it has met with resistance.

“Hey all, I’ve been trying (all day) to come up with a slightly better way to say this, but I’m just going to give it to you straight,” wrote an SMGO.tv representative on the company’s Tumblr.

“Warner said no – they don’t think we can reach our goals – do you believe that?”

Beware the Batman and Teen Titans Go! have replaced the two canceled shows on the Cartoon Network block.
