Everything you’ve read on-line about the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot is wrong.
At least that’s what actor Alan Ritchson says.
Ritchson, who has been cast as Raphael, says that all the on-line reports are being taken out of context and that fans will find director Michael Bay’s reboot to be a worthy addition to the franchise.
“The frustrating thing for me since I’ve signed on is that you hear that it’s already got a reputation. I think people assume they know what it’s going to be about, and those people are wrong. The assumptions, everything you read online is wrong. You want to tell everybody how great it is, and you can’t really say why, but it is,” he tells the Hollywood Reporter.
Ritchson has already started shooting the film. His part will be done via motion capture.

So, Michael Bay ISN’T directing it. I may have to go see it.
