How would YOU like to see the world of Tony Stark? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to attend a Stark Expo? Now you can, and all you have to do is travel to the House of the Mouse.
Ever since Disney acquired Marvel Comics there has been some speculation among fans as to how any Marvel properties might appear inside of the Disney theme parks. Aside from simple merchandising of toys and costumes, the world of Marvel and Disney were kept very separate. That is about to change.
In an attempt to make use of the show building that has housed the exhibit known as Innoventions, Disney has decided to make use of some of that valuable real estate and display actual set pieces from the movie Iron Man 3!!!
“Beginning April 13, Iron Man Tech Presented by Stark Industries will give Disneyland park guests the chance to see Tony Stark’s Hall of Armor, featuring Iron Man suits Mark I-VII – the same suits featured in “Iron Man 3,” according to Erin Glover on the DisneyParks Blog website.
Among some of the activities guests will be able to do include testing the repulsor blasts, experience for themselves what it is like to operate the latest pieces and tech of the Iron Man armor, and even do a virtual “suit up!”
Currently there are no plans to bring this exhibit to the Innoventions at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT theme park, but given Disney’s history in sharing theme park attractions, if this generates enough excitement at Disneyland then there is every possibility that it might show up in Orlando, Florida.
