Could “Enterprise” Get a Revival?

Could “Enterprise” Get a Revival?

March 25, 2013 By Mike Hickerson Leave a Comment

Want to see more of Enterprise?

Brannon Braga, series co-creator and producer has some advice for you — watch the show on Netflix.

Citing the popularity of Jericho on the streaming content service and rumors that show could come back, Braga encourages fans to stream episodes of Enterprise.

“I don’t work at Netflix, but all I can tell you is, based on what I’ve seen, if a show is real popular, they take notice. It’s a business model,” Braga tells TrekCore.   “I would love to see another season of Enterprise. Whether or not you could get the whole cast, I don’t know. But this cast is young, vibrant… I see them here, a lot of the cast is here at this convention, and I miss these guys.”

Braga spoke at length to TrekCore’s Adam Walker and Chris Wales about his tenure on the modern Trek series and the potential future for the franchise.  You can see the full interview and read the transcripts HERE and HERE.

Braga says that his initial plan for Seven of Nine was much different than the one we saw realized on Voyager.  Braga says that his vision for the finale of Voyager would see Seven sacrificing herself to help the crew get home.

“I think Seven of Nine should have bit the dust. I think there had to be a real sacrifice for this crew getting home; a real blood sacrifice. Seven of Nine was, for me, designed to be a character that was gonna die tragically. I planned that,” Braga says.

The interview covers a lot of ground from Braga’s first scripts for Next Generation to his thoughts on DS9′s serialization. You definitely want to take some time and check it out if you’re a Trek fan.
