Directors Andy and Lana Wachowski have signed Sean Bean to star in their upcoming movie, Jupiter Ascending.
Deadline reports that the siblings have recruited Sean Bean to join their latest mind-bender in the role of Stinger, described as a “Han Solo-type character.” He’ll be acting alongside Channing Tatum (G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra), Mila Kunis (Oz the Great and Powerful) and Eddie Redmayne (Les Miserables).
The film follows a poor Russian cleaning woman (Kunis) who discovers that she has been marked for death by the Queen of the Universe since she has the same genetic makeup and thus threatens her rule over humanity, who are pretty low on the galactic ladder in this reality. The woman is forced to go on the run, accompanied by the bounty hunter (Tatum) originally sent to kill her.
… and Bean’s character will die at some point in the film…
LOL Lejon and so true. Bean’s characters have died in nearly every major film he has been in, even if he’s the good guy they kill him off.
