Is Marvel Planning Another Hulk Movie?

Is Marvel Planning Another Hulk Movie?

February 4, 2013 By Michael Hickerson Leave a Comment

Last week, we heard about Phase III for the Marvel movie universe, featuring Ant Man and Doctor Strange movies.  But could a third Hulk installment be part of that new wave of movies?

It’s possible, according to Comic Vine.

What the site reports is considered SPOILERy for several future Marvel projects, so if you don’t want to know, we’ll give you the chance to stop reading now.

Rumor has it that the end of Avengers 2 will find a group of elite, super hero minds who find that having the Hulk on Earth is far too dangerous and launching the Green Goliath into outer space.   The plotline would follow that of Planet Hulk with the Hulk finding a planet full of gladiatorial games and winning them, then coming back to Earth to see his revenge.  The battles on a far off world would be part of the new Hulk movie.

The Hulk’s return and his seeking vengeance on the members of the Avengers who decided to exile him would be the basis of The Avengers 3.

Whether or not this is true remains to be seen.   We know that Marvel has shown the ability to create far-reaching plans in their movie universe in the past.  But would you be interested in the Marvel movie universe developing this particular storyline?
